NAME- A BROKEN MAN
AUTHOR- AKASH VERMA
RATING- 8/10
A broken man by Akash Verma is a romantic tragic story setup in India. The main character of the story, Krishna is dalit boy and is very hardworking. A girl namely, Chhavi is a daughter of a politician and is Brahamin. Both Krishna and Chhavi fall in love with each other but because of difference in social status of each other, they are seperated. India is very developed in terms of technology and other things, but still there are some divisions on basis of caste which are still followed. This book emphasizes on this topic only. All the characters in this book are wonderfully sketched by the author and each character has its own importance. The book is very interesting and kept me engrossed till the very last page. The author has magnificently written this book. This was the second book, I read by the author. It was a very nice experience for me to read this book. If you want to know more about Krishna and Chhavi you should just go for it. Overall, it's a nice book.
