*THIRD REVIEW*
NAME- THREE YOUNG WOMEN
AUTHOR- SWEETY MUKHERJEE
RATING- 8/10
This  book tells the story of three best friends since school, Smriti, Geetika and Sampoorna. Smriti narrates the story, recounting her lovely hostel life with her two best friends Geetu and Sam. The story oscillates between the past school life and the present where they are married and leading their own lives! One day, they decide to meet at Smriti's house, nearly 8 years after their graduation. Each of the three best friends has a story to tell - a story about the physical and emotional needs of a woman, a story about the struggles of being a good wife, and a story about the high ambitions and work-life balance of a woman. How do they overcome these pitfalls in their lives? What will be their reactions on hearing each other's narratives? Well, you got to read on to find out the answers and join them in their journey of life! "It was not about money. It was about myself."
I love the above line, which is a part of one of the many poems the author has written in this book. She has seamlessly blended poems in between her story, which is something I loved reading. She has given us stories of three women, each in a different situation, which makes one ponder about our realities and how we must face them and if necessary move on too!
