NAME: RAKSHABANDHAN
AUTHOR: NISHTHA SHRIVASTAVA
RATING: 8/10
Raksha Bandhan: The Fading Bonds of Faith by Nishtha Shrivastava is a magnificent book.
Well, Raksha Bandhan is an Indian festival where sister ties a thread in brother's hand and  brother promises sister to protect her in all the situations.
Coming to the story, it is all about Nisha who has two brothers namely, Hansit and Gourav. Nisha's parents are seperated and Nisha along with her mother and Gourav shifts to Allahabad. Hansit moves to his grandmother's home to stay with her. The expectations that she keeps from a brother and the shivering end that brings peace to everybody else’s life  leaves her in a never ending pain. This book is a journey of brother and sister who are always there for each other. The book is full of emotions and the author has narrated the whole story in a fantastic manner. The language is easy to understand and there are not too many characters in the story. I completed this book in just two sittings. The ending of this book is also nice and I really liked it!
Overall, it is a very unique and intriguing book which should be read by everyone. This book is recommended to beginners because of its easy to understand language.
